Welcome to the Burger Bastion carrd page! All info I've written for my AU so far is in here besides a few things I hadn't finished yet! Burger Bastion is yet another AU of Pizza Tower, it stars Velvette who is this AU's version of Noisette.Velvette one day receives an ad in the mail that says that her favorite theme park, Dreamy World, has been rebuilt and she's been given a free ticket to go so she decides to temporarily close her restaurant and go on a trip there, but once she gets there she sees that it's actually in a horrible shape because it turns out it's still in a state of decay and abandonment, but before she can actually leave, the main entrance to the park is locked by an unknown identity hidden in the shadows who laughs at her and then quickly vanishes afterwards, so now Velvette must find a way to get out of the theme park and back to her restaurant safe and sound.Along the way, she'll meet many different characters and go through many different parts of the park with numerous different themes including a few special unlockable nostalgia themed levels if she collects enough of the lost toppins in each zone of the theme park.After going through all 5 levels in each zone, Velvette will find herself face to face against a boss who holds a comically large key, the keys seem to be important so its best that Velvette collects all of the keys while trying to find a way out of the park!

She/Her

The main star of the Burger Bastion AU! Velvette is a friendly but nervous chef who runs an old retro style restaurant named "Velvet Hearts" that used to be much more popular back when it first opened but business for it has been declining over the years and it's been currently on the verge of bankruptcy, there are still a few die hard fans for the place however that wish for the restaurants success and eventual rise to popularity again.She's the only one working at the restaurant and sure it doesn't have many people visiting it in a single day most of the time but she still finds a way to panic about making sure everybody who visits there has a good time at the restaurant itself, she always tries her best to please everyone in her restaurant if she can.She has a pair of roller skates that she uses to get to places quickly, she prefers using roller skates than just simply running to places since she feels they're faster and also gives her a bit of style, the roller skates can be seen when she reaches mach speed.

He/Him

Snymn is one of the many other characters stuck in the theme park along with Velvette, he's got a little of a southern accent, has a snarky and prideful attitude and seems to be annoyed by basically everyone, he's always complaining about how slow Velvette is when going through the different zones in the park and sometimes challenges her to see who can go through the level faster, though these challenges are optional.He used to be a famous platformer mascot with one certain game being such a huge hit that it got remastered or ported over multiple times throughout multiple generations for multiple consoles.
Though suddenly one day the company that had created him decided to create a new game with him in it that ended up becoming a mini-game collection with small annoying eggs in it instead of a new platformer, they eventually abandoned him for the eggs instead though once the mini-game collections ended up becoming more popular and profitable somehow, something that he's still extremely bitter about which he takes out on all the others around him which is a thing he wish he could stop but he feels that asking for help would make him seem weak and not in character like how he was back in his most famous game.

Fidget is dressed up as the mascot of the theme park, Mr Charles Cheese, who was a very popular mascot back when Dreamy World was originally open and full of guests many years ago and is always in a cheerful tone and makes sure everyone in the park has a good time, even when out of the costume which is extremely rare to have happen.He dislikes heavy amounts of violence or too much chaos which is much different than his original counterpart, he'd rather stand still all day handing out balloons to those that pass him by as he gives them a goofy grin, even though it's usually nobody at all, he's still pretty silly at times and tries to keep everyone entertained while they're all trapped inside of the park by doing numerous fun tricks like juggling or cheap magic tricks.He'd rather be referred to as Mr Charles Cheese than his real name when he's still in the costume, he takes his role as park mascot perhaps a bit too seriously as he won't listen to you if you call him by Fidget whenever he's in the costume, whenever he's outside of his costume however he will be fine being referred to as either name.

Marino works at the theme park's main gift shop and always has a bored look on his face even though he's usually never bored when waiting for someone to enter the shop itself as he always has something on hand to keep himself entertained such as a few old handheld consoles and toys to play with.He doesn't exercise much as he focuses more on his own hobbies and working at the gift shop, he enjoys collecting all sorts of strange nostalgic items for himself and talking all about the various pieces of media he enjoys such as old cartoons and action shows, sometimes you may see him playing with action figures instead of with a game console which is rare.If you mention something he likes even just a little, he will begin to info dump on you about everything he knows about that topic and probably give a few opinions on it, though really he can't help it because he loves retro stuff so much.

He/Him and It/Its

A pathetic weak blob made out of blended up trash and rotten food that was left around in the theme park and was brought to life by whoever trapped Velvette and the others in the park, he's very useless in combat and avoids everyone if he can in order to protect himself.
He was discarded by his creator and left in the theme park since it was abandoned, however, what he doesn't realize is that his creator is still somewhere in the park, just in a very hard to get area unfortunately.It hand made its top hat out of cardboard that was stuck in its body, it enjoys creating accessories and costumes for fun whenever it has enough materials on hand or stuck in its body which is really easy to do as it tries to find new spots to hide in all the time while stuck in the park.

Mr. Swag is a slightly more energetic jerk who's completely bored out of his mind, he's an unpaid intern that just stands in front of the entrances to the special stages all day waiting for someone that's actually qualified enough to enter into the stages, entering said stages requires defeating the boss of that zone and collecting all the toppins in the zone as well.He's not happy to be here at all, he was told he would be paid well for all of his time being in here but has yet to be paid a single cent, he at least has his worn down skateboard with him and his favorite yo-yo to make sure he's not ENTIRELY bored.He may look young but actually he's in his middle-ages as he constantly tries to relive the 80's and 90's with his harsh, reckless attitude, he lives his life dangerously... Well at least he would if he wasn't stuck in this dead end job standing around all day, sometimes he wishes he was the one running through all of those special levels instead of Velvette.

He/Him

A crazy mad scientist/director who runs the entire theme park behind the scenes and is the one who trapped numerous strangers in the park for his own twisted amusement and corporate gain, he sees everyone in the park as his own test subjects/dolls/actors in his own personal oversized play place.He can see everyone in the park via all the surveillance cameras in the safety of his own underground lab hidden within the park, he uses most of the surveillance footage for his online web series about a crazy cast of characters working in a dying theme park when the truth is that he lured everybody here with free invites and then trapped them all in there, mostly for his show of course but sometimes he likes to try out a few experiments here and then but it usually ends up becoming something tied to show to add something new and exciting to keep the audience watching, it's somehow a very popular show that makes the doctor a ton of money which is how he is able to fund more and more dangerous and elaborate projects, but the show is getting even more popular now that Velvette is stuck in the park and running around through all of the park, collecting toppins and beating up monsters that he made.

She/Her and It/Its

A tiny bloodthirsty clone of Velvette who's always on the hunt for her to get rid of her for good at the request of her creator after the real Velvette beats up a couple of the bosses in the park, and also because her creator thought that having an evil clone of the current most popular character in his show would be really cool.It doesn't care about anything other than its creator, it would kill anybody that gets in its way but it isn't allowed to because of the doctor's orders, though it does get incredibly close to disobeying a few times when they annoy or irritate it too much which is too easy to do.She barely resembles Velvette though but she's quite nimble and can cling onto ceilings and walls with its sharp claws and hair, and since it is so small, it can run very quickly and hide inside of small spots so it can jump out at you and chew up your legs if you aren't careful.

A self conscious, highly anxious tiny green bell pepper that's about the same size as the other toppins found in levels, he tries to make friends with others but he ends up getting way too worried about how he's talking so he just ends up running away mid conversation usually with an excuse such as "I left my food in the microwave!" or "I've got an important thing I've got to get done now!"Doesn't believe in himself, like, at all… He does cheer others on like Velvette from time to time, though from a very very far away distance to the point you probably can't even tell that he's there... Maybe because he already ran away at that point.Doesn't have any dreams or goals in life, he just roams around and does things on a whim whenever they pop up into his mind, though usually it's nothing too important or special to notice.

Dr. Sauce's personal bodyguard who has a small head but a HUGE body that's ready to pummel the hell out of any poor chap that meets him unless the doctor orders him to let them in or if they have a top secret VIP pass, he is seen always guarding the entrance to Dr. Sauce's secret lab which also means it's not that much of a secret if you see him standing right there, but it is very well guarded though.He's not really that smart and he can't talk at all despite him being one of the doctor's greatest creations, though he is still loved very dearly by him nonetheless as he's given special treats to both congratulate him on a good job and also to keep his strength up.

The toppins that Velvette collects in each level, you know, the usual business.From left to right, there's Mozarella (they/them and it/its), Pickle (it/its), Cherry Tomato (she/her and it/its), Bacon (he/him and it/its) and Lettuce (she/her and it/its)Mozarella is shy and dislikes loud sounds, Pickle is quiet and reserved but enjoys spending time with the others, Cherry Tomato may look cute but has used her looks to steal from others multiple times, Bacon is a goofy idiot and gets lost easily, Lettuce is very calm and enjoys playing video games alone.

Technically.See, Soapy here was once a trash slime itself until one day it got so sick and tired of all the trash laying around that out of sheer rage and spite, it evolved into a slime made out of pure soap and cleaning materials as he now makes it his task to clean up the entire park all on his own.(OK SO I RAN OUT OF ELEMENTS BUT I AM PLANNING TO MOVE THIS WHOLE THING TO NEOCITIES SOON ANYWAY but uh soapy uses any pronouns and this is the last thing i can do on here so i cant rly update this until i move it to my neocities site uhh hi rip this carrd someday when i learn how to use html better whoops)

Kiddy Karnival was once a brightly colored part of the theme park, now its fallen apart and filled with desaturated colors and a pale green smokey sky, discarded snacks and souvenirs litter the ground as Velvette walks around as she tries to find a way out of the park.There are many remnants of once working rides such as a carousel, a teacup ride, a toddler's roller coaster, a few broken down baby carnival games and an old spot to meet the theme parks mascot that has since been destroyed.This is the very first zone that Velvette enters in the theme park, the levels are relatively easy and even contains a tutorial area to learn the controls of the game!"It's a very family friendly experience for all!" - Kiddy Karnival quoteThe special level in Kiddy Karnival contains a pastel aesthetic and floating nostalgic toys in the background such as those that are nods to actual old toys, along with a few old discontinued candies floating alongside them.

Dreamy Plaza is a more colorful part of the park filled with empty buildings to explore in and a few makeshift decorations made out of cardboard with a giant fountain that's been drained of its water, this part of the park also features the gift shop and the remains of a torn down restaurant, the main colors are slightly less desaturated and more bright and eye straining while there are stickers plastered all over the place along with graffiti being sprayed on some of the buildings both inside and outside.This part of the park is where all the large festivities took place such as fireworks shows and parades, the only remains of the festivities now are a few destroyed floats and old decorations laying around with the only true survivor being a single statue of the theme park's mascot that's somehow still in a pristine condition."The most cheerful place in the world!" - Quote for Dreamy WorldThe special level in Dreamy Plaza contains tons of floating graffiti in the background along with spray cans right next to said graffiti, the general aesthetic is very bright and colorful with a few references to old forgotten mascots (that may or may not actually be real in this universe)

Seasonal Special is a more strange and highly innovative part of the park as it contains 4 different seasons in 4 different smaller parts of this 1 huge zone, each with their own weather as well, though they are contained in large domes that protect them from the other seasons in the park, there's also an old gift shop here that used to contain clothing for all the seasons but now all it mostly contains is cobwebs, probably.At the time, this park was absolutely revolutionary and changed how others saw theme parks forever, of course, this feeling didn't last in the public's eye as they begun to look towards other newer and bigger things as this place became yet another abandoned piece of history as it's now occupied by strange, food-related monsters, just like the rest of this park."Experience it all with the brand new Seasonal Special zone here at Dreamy World!" - Quote from an old Dreamy World commercialHope you're ready to experience it all at once with the special level of Seasonal Special as it'll be a chaotic combination of everything from the 4 seasons with a more pastel color palette to the level along with floating objects in the background that center around all the seasons, it's a bit of a mess though to say the least.

An extremely speedy and high paced zone with levels that are filled with many, many, MANY turbo pads and other gimmicks that focus on speed and maintaining momentum, it's main color palette contains dark red, bright red and yellow with black and white checkered patterns, there are empty race tracks all over the place along with some broken go-karts.This zone is Snymn's favorite spot in the entire park, the high speed, the mass amounts of adrenaline felt and all the crazy racing that goes on is a wonderful thing for him, he feels the most alive here."Hot speed, hot races! It's so hot it'll melt your brain!" -Sriracha Speedway quoteSriracha Speedway's special level contains even brighter eye straining colors somehow and turbo pads almost everywhere you look, the entire level is on a time limit as soon as Velvette enters and must get to the exit as quick as she can, or she can see how many laps she can do in the level.

A more 2000's looking zone consisting of much larger, glittering attractions full of energy and with a few neat buildings sprinkled around like a club and another gift shop but with a similar space aesthetic for all of the places throughout the zone.This place was very popular with young folk surprisingly, and it all still seems to be in such a great condition that you wouldn't even notice that it was in an abandoned theme park full of trapped people desperately trying to find a way out of here, it seems so beautiful compared to everything else in this place.This zone doesn't have a quote but it is near an alternative park entrance/exit that is unfortunately locked by 5 comically large locks, all Velvette has to do is find 5 matching comically large keys to open all of these locks and just simply leave the park!
It sounds easy, but it definitely won't be easy anymore at this point as the levels are much harder now, but if she was able to get this far towards the end then she sure isn't going to give up now!The special level has a glittering rainbow galaxy in the background and every gimmick that has been ever encountered but no nostalgic nods to anything at all, it's a very challenging level compared to all the other special levels so far and requires great dexterity to get through.

Listing music I wanna use as inspiration for whenever I learn how to make music on my own (if I ever figure that out somehow, someday, in the possible future).Honestly I'm not sure why I'm putting this here because like this probably will never be an actual game cuz I don't know how to code games and game mechanics but I thought it would be neat to put this here anyway for songs that make me think of what maybe the music for this AU would be like :>List is subject to change cuz my brain get's indecisive on things sometimes.
